If you were expecting some... Pokemon piece or something, just leave I guess.
Well, this is probably one of my most time-consuming pieces of artwork to date. I spent four days on it, off and on, making sure I got all the details right. This painting technique is sort of a follow up to the Charmanderleon picture I posted on the weekend, seeing if I could really paint something of my own volition-- so, here you go! I'm going to upload a tutorial of how I did this soon enough, because, well, this is one of the only pictures I've done where I screencapped my progress along the way, so it means I can explain certain things I did and give people a look at what it was like in the WIP stage.
ANYWAY
Original size: 3300 x 2550 To be a print at AnthroCon 2008 Photoshop CS2; time spent: 20+ hours

I love the creativity of each of those characters. Keep up the great work!

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

....In my pants.
I don't support Yaoi/Yuri because it's a disgrace to the character victimized to it, especially when they're not gay OR show signs of it.
