Anyway, regarding this piece: I am quite fond of the shadows. To me, they all seem believable, and they all seem to be part of the same piece - no one shadow is doing whatever it wants. This allows me to determine where the light source is, without conflict, despite it not actually being visible in the picture. Also, regarding the colors used, when I hold something similarly colored up to the sun, it has the same tint - golden on the back, towards the lightsource, and the front where it is white has a similar blue-ish color.
Your anatomy is also getting really good - there are subtle details in this picture that many would probably overlook, such as the foot actually looking like a foot, the shape of the knee, the shoulders, and particularly, the shape of forearm, right where it meets the elbow. These seem to add life to a character that otherwise would seem completely surreal.
Finally, the background is very fitting and well done. I am not sure what the types of clouds are called, but I do notice that there is more than one type in this picture, and none of them look fake. The flowers seem to blend well with the grass, and the colors of them complement the rest of the picture, in my eyes. The background remains interesting to look at while not detracting from the main focus of the picture. It makes the summer scene seem almost perfect; that were I in this position, I would probably be enjoying it as much as the character is.
Once again, this is another very well done piece from you. I look forward to watching you continue to improve.
