Awesome buttons! I absolutely love how you made Zoura!
When I first met N, I though he was a total creeper. I thought his character was interesting, though. Being able to understand Pokemon? That was a unique touch to our green-haired friend, and it intrigued me, as it had never been done before.
Nowadays, he is my favorite character from both the games and the comics. His personality is well developed, his history is incredibly well thought-out, and everything about him makes you think if there's something more to this fast-talking teen than what meets the eye.
When I first saw N, I thought he was pretty cool with his green hair and all, but he seemed kind of like a Pokemon hippie. I didn't mind him but I didn't love him either. And then when he confesses about being the king of team plasma, I for some reason grew to like him very much to the point of a character obsession XD I found his story so sad and I cried when he left at the end of the game XD
honestly, when he first showed up i could only think of how pretty and fluffy his hair was XD but during the game i thought he was some kinda environmentalist-type guy who was trying to get in your way. but towards the end i realized ghetsis (or whatever his name is) was really just using him for his own purposes, n was just a tool. i had a positive outlook on him throughout the whole game, i wish he hadn't dropped off the face of the earth at the end. i've heard people think of him as a creepy stalker, i never thought of him like that XD
When I first started playing the game, N didn't seem to pose much of a threat to me. His Pokémon were generally weak, and he didn't sound like he was up to anything dangerous either. In the first encounter I found very weird how he appeared out of nowhere saying he could hear the voices of my Pokémon, but I started liking him very soon after that first encounter. He had different ideals than most of the other rivals/villains. While the others were all "I'M GONNA BEAT YOU AND BECOME CHAMPION" or "I'M GONNA BECOME LEADER OF THIS REGION", and actually sounded menacing to you, N was just "I don't want Pokémon to fight because they are my friends, and you must stop battling with your Pokémon too". I mean, he actually cared for Pokémon, even more than humans. It was a breath of fresh air from the others XD On the other hand, I also thought he was pretty hard-headed by not even listening to other opinions, and thought he was pretty hypocritical too, since he talked about how battles were horrible and stuff, and yet he insisted on battling me all the time. Never thought he'd be one of the main villains of the story, either; maybe just an extra rival, although I was interested in seeing how he would confront me through the game.
Then by the end of the game, I'd seen what the man truly was all about. He was the "leader" of a huge organization, and he was dead serious about separating Pokémon from humans; so much that he recruited a legendary Pokémon to help him. Heck, he battled me with a legendary! First rival/villain to ever do that XD Getting into his room disturbed me a ton; I saw him as the man-child he really was, who had no social skills because he grew up seeing nothing but hurt Pokémon. He wasn't allowed to see how happy Pokémon could be with their trainers; he only saw the suffering that evil trainers could cause to the poor critters. N couldn't be blamed for what he believed in. He had been used and manipulated his whole life by a heartless father so he could be his pawn, and even his team members weren't really by his side in the end. Even if I saw how lonely the guy was, I couldn't help but admire him. His actions, even if very extreme, were motivated by nothing other than the wish to see a happier world for the friends he cared so much about. No greed was involved. And when he went away on his Zekrom's back, I had the feeling he'd suffer a lot after finding out his life was a lie... but he would eventually recover. Not fully, though.
I really liked the depth that was put into his character, compared to other characters from other Pokémopn games. He had an actual backstory, actual motivations besides "WURLD DUMINATEEAN" for his actions, and several personality traits and tics that made him recognizable. PLUS, GREEN HAIR. And an extremely weird full name 8P He was one of the greatest things on BW for me. I just think he could have been harder to beat in the last fight...
Tl;dr: I found him interesting in the beginning and great by the end of the game. I barely noticed his creepy tics and overall weirdness until I got into the Internet Pokémon BW fandom, actually. Guess I'm not very perceptive 'XD
... heck, I wrote a Bible. Sorry, guess I got carried away >_>
When I first saw N, I kinda thought he would be a smart-know-it-all-must-beat-you-cuz-I'm-totally-evil guy. Rather, I thought he was going to be my third rival or something or other. I also thought thaaat...maybe he would become good and happy-happy. Never expected for him to get a Zekrom to fight against my cute Reshiram. Thought he committed suicide when he jumped out of the tower with his Zekrom FAIL
Now I think he's adorbs and amazing, and I love the character development in the game and his haira;sfalsdfjasd I also feel sorry about how he was forced to do most things for Team Plasma/Rocket/[insert villian name here].
and he's hot and I like to print out pictures of him ...and I want to restart the game to meet him again but I don't want to lose my pokemonWEEP
I first learned of N from the game, itself, so I thought he was weak to fight against. Not at all a challenge. Now, I think he's an appealing character, because of his history. He's definitely one of my fave Pokemon antagonists.
At first I thought N was a 'poke-hippie', more animal rights campaigner than drug taking flop. He wasn't that nice either, at least how I remember him, too up his own arse about what he was doing. But then as I put the pieces together and realised what was going on with Ghetsis and Team Plasma, I felt sorry for him, having those feelings manipulatively nurtured out of him just for Team Plasma to get their hands on Zekrom/Reshiram. But after the Ghetsis Battle, I wanted to follow N where he went, because it seemed like his journey of self-discovery would be better than the main storyline itself (I was also super jealous of his Zoroark, until I got one myself).

When I played the game the first time, I didn't pay attention to anything N said, but I always saw him as a shy guy who was being manupilated by his father, even though N didn't want to do the things his father wanted. Now that I've played the game for a 2nd time, I now understand that N WAS being manupilated by his father, and N didn't really realize he was, and he talks in a way that's almost dark and evil. Even so, I still see N as a shy guy who had a troubled childhood because of his mother's dead and his father's constent want for greatness in his child. N, we love you as the hero who didn't want to be one. Thank you for makeing the game a bit more complicated and disition racking.
Hmm.. well... first I learned about him in the Internet where people talked about N as creeper who goes with you onto the ferris wheel (especially when you play as the boy), yep, a wonderful 1st impression. I got the game after that and wasn't quite sure what to think about him in the opening with the crown and all. That changed though when I met him first ingame, he is a pretty cool looking character who could apparently understand the Pokemons feelings, so I thought that he was pretty awesome compared to what we had in pokemon yet and that didn't change after the ferris wheel scene. I really don't understand what people have it with that. I'm glad how the whole story ended. So what should I say? He is probably one of the most interesting characters in Pokemon.
When I first met N in game, I thought he was an interesting motherfucker. After the entire fiasco, my mindset changed to him being a really fucked up motherfucker. Saddening shit, but he takes it like a bro in the end at least. Can't say that I'll forget this guy anytime soon, he became a fast liked character.
At first, I thought N would be a cool and collected guy that doesn't show his Pokemon love when training, basic rival story yada yada.. But when he turned out to be the type of guy that wants them all set free, took me by utter surprise. I think he's a passionate guy who was mixed in the wrong group of people who forced their beliefs on him.
I first learned about N when my friend started obsessing over him at the opening of B/W. I didn't think much of him, but after reading more into his character I like how his views aren't 100% evil. He's a nice person going about his goal the wrong way XD
i always wanted to do some n fanart ever since i got the game! i love the artwork from the games and thought it was too beautiful to not get drawn. of course i never got around to it, but this inspired me to retry!
When I first learned of him, I thought he would be a fun rival character, but nothing more. I thought he would be that one occasional person you meet every so often. I had a suspicion he'd have some significance later on, but I had no idea how things would turn out.
By the end of the game I felt I had this deep understanding of N and shared some of his desires. Seeing the room where he grew up, seeing his interactions with Pokemon, and other factors made me feel like I connected with him on a more emotional level. N has a pure heart - I hope we will hear from him again. One thing's certain - The Pokemon team did an excellent job creating this character.
Aw, N! I thought he was a nutjob at the beginning of the game who really wanted to get into my character's pants but I grew to love his kookiness and was so sad when he disappeared at the end of the game. Come back to me, N!
Considering that the game was released in Japan first I knew a fair amount about N before actually getting to play the game myself. I liked the idea of his character and how they designed his hair after playing the games I like him a lot more as sort of a brainwashed child who was raised under a certain ideal and then had his eyes opened to broader perspectives through his interactions with Touya/Touko in he game, rather than just the singular view his father basically created for him to feel.
When I first saw him... Hm... I'm trying to remember because that was a while ago... When I first saw him, I thought he was kind of confusing and secretive, which I suppose was what they were going for. I thought his look was interesting enough; with that hat he sort of looked like a warped version of Ash.
As I learned more about him though, I just got more confused. It peaked in the Ferris Wheel. While most people were coming up with shipping names and whatnot for N and their OCs, I was thinking he was a creep. Not only that, but I thought he sort of explained himself in an odd way. He was very nonchalant about it all.
I've grown to like him more over time though. He's certainly a very complicated character. He was also the first in all the games to be your rival AND badguy leader (well, technically it was Ghetsis, but I digress). He’s naive, and has a child-like perspective of how life should be. This was shown by us seeing his playroom in his castle.
All in all, I like the guy now. When, at first, I thought he was strange and irritating and pushy in his beliefs, now I think he’s just an honest, lonely guy trying to find out what life is really about.
When I first meet him at the game I ask my self: what's his name and why is talking about this crazy team plazam people? But now I feel sympathy for him now. He is a great character, I was amazed about his backstory... (there wasn't anything like that before in an pokemon game(?)) He is the first "enemy" I really like, I hope he takes part (a lot) in s/w2, too.
The first thing i learned about him was something i read about him somewhere in a wiki. Then i was kind of interested in this charakter as he was a king of something i never heard before. I think i already like the idea of the charakter already, but i did not knew him. I was just fascinated by the idea of him i guess.
Now i really just looove him he is such a great person used by bad people for bad goals but such a nice guy in any way I don't know what to say but he is greaat person i looove him really aww
First, I was "Meh, another generic emo boy, just with green hair?" and kind of ignored him.
Now that I know his story better, he's one of my all-time faves, and I really feel warm and fuzzy inside when I see him and Zorua/Zoroark together and hugging, like that second badge. He's just a child in a man's body, with a terrible childhood, and needs a LOT of huggles. ;u;
