An annoyed grumble sounded from behind Udon, which prompted her to step aside.

“I’ll tell you something important, gutter trash.” Merlot stood from her seat again, though she didn’t approach Slasher this time. “I am not intimidated by you backing yourself up with some pathetic gang. You cannot hope to do anything on your own. It is always ‘we’ or ‘us’ with you. I may have my servants, but I certainly do not rely on them to pull my weight as you do.”

This lecture made the Weavile rather upset, bringing him to bare his teeth as he clenched them together. “Are you callin’ me a coward?!” he growled through them.

“Yes,” Merlot replied calmly, “you are a coward. If you have some sort of agenda, deal with it yourself instead of throwing your weight around. Now, begone from my castle, and don’t come back.”

Merlot’s tone softened as she turned to the Dragonite, who was really quite tickled. She always seemed to be when Merlot was stern with someone. “Udon, escort them off the premises and join me in the dining room.”

With that, the Lugia exited her throne room.

“You heard the mistress. Leave, or I will bring the fury down upon you!” Udon stated. Her tone seemed so stern, like Merlot’s was, but soon enough, she couldn’t help giggling to herself. “Oh, I always wanted to say that!”

Slasher was livid. Being talked down to like that made him see red. He was inclined to attack the outfitted Dragonite in a fit of rage, when one of the Sneasels behind him tapped his shoulder.

“Boss, calm down. We should just go...” the Sneasel timidly suggested, only to have Slasher whip around and deliver a hook to the side of his face, flooring him.

After the display of anger, Slasher grumbled as he turned to exit the castle. The Sneasel that was still standing hurried to follow along, and the one that he floored pulled himself up with a pained groan, shooting a pitiful glance at Udon before jogging to catch up to the other two.

“What a jerk...” Udon commented under her breath, before leaving to join her mistress.

Makes me wonder why do the other Sneasel's follow him as leader. He's not that great of leader in my eyes and a jerk, so what said before why do they follow him...

I'm a sucker for pokemon, and the color in this is really well done. Plus its darker then what you normally see with the cartoons and such, adds a much more bad ass feel. Very cool.

One thing I really respect about your paintings is that you're able to capture multiple scenes in the story blurbs in a single frame. Somehow, it just all comes together in the painting. Not to mention the wonderful style and excellent composition; It just does a wonderful job at interpreting the story.
