I hate it so much. I hate the image resizing and the inability to go back to a choice that worked.

It is incredibly frustrating to learn the reason we don't have it right now.

I wasn't aware that they tried it out for a little bit a few weeks ago before implementing it into v7 before I looked around a bit last night to read up on it. I wasn't aware that there was a gigantic negative response (how unpredictable?) to it, either.

I still can't cope with the new way images are displayed and that there's no choice or way I can decide how people should see my art. Picking the image size is useless now because chances are I'm browsing in a tiny window, like usual, because I have a lot I need to fit on my screen.

To sum it up, dA wants to make sure that normal members look at each and every ad on each and every picture. So, it'll be buy a premium membership, or don't get the feature to look at art the old way. That's it. Pretty fucking sleazy to me. Take away a feature that's been free forever because you have some retarded ad placement? Great going! That's the innovation I'm looking for!

This isn't even so much because I'm inconvenienced. It's because I want people to see my art as I intended it to be seen, and this is being stripped from me in the name of progress and revenue.

That's it. That's the baseline. I didn't even have as much of a complaint before I was getting comments about people confused on how to look at the full image of my art that simply cannot be seen otherwise. Case in point: EVERY SINGLE POKEMON picture.

So, with all due respect, dA, the image resizing you're using now sucks and I find the way you're approaching this issue to be horrible. I can't agree with any way of going about this that places ADS over ART.

I know! Ever sinse they've done this every time I look at a piece of art and want to go back, all the pictures are blocked out or it just sends me back to the home page! Like, what a bunch of dicks!

Not to mention, I cannot browse through favorites without having an ad cover up half of them! I mean, if they used a banner that wouldn't happen, but instead they just stuck a box in the corner of the screen that either a) takes up space that you could be using to view art or b) just completely covers up the damn picture!

I hate it so much! I wish they'd bring back v6! I mean, with a few changes, but I liked it a lit more! This whole ad stuff is complete BS!

You should take this to them and see what they say.
